Meet the Founder
His work in developing automated golden embossing technology was recognised with a Maharashtra State Award at the 7th National Grassroots Innovation Awards in 2013. He continued developing the technology and went on to create the Six-Axis Rotating Head Golden Embossing Machine, which received National Award–Second at the 11th National Biennial Grassroots Innovations and Outstanding Traditional Knowledge Awards in 2023. These recognitions are documented by the National Innovation Foundation–India. But awards are only one part of the story.
What makes Ravindra's journey different is where the innovation came from real problems, real machines and a hands-on approach to finding better solutions.
From Solving Problems to Building Machines
Ravindra's work began with a simple observation: conventional golden embossing was slow and required considerable manual effort. Instead of accepting the process as it was, he looked for a way to automate it. That thinking led to the development of different golden embossing systems and eventually the six-axis machine. According to the National Innovation Foundation, the machine uses six controlled axes for operations including punching, letter indexing, positioning and foiling, with the system operated through software.
